Between Bass Coast and Cinemagic Camping Festival happening in Merritt and everyone else still recovering from FVDED, the selection for events in the city this weekend is definitely smaller. There’s still some amazing things to choose from though! Psytrance lovers, you’re also getting a couple options this weekend too.
Speaking of Bass Coast, I’ll be attending my first one this weekend! This is a fest I’ve been wanting to hit up for ages so I could not be more excited.

July 10-12: Cinemagic Camping Festival is happening in Merritt! Expect music, nature, community, and their signature immersive light show.
July 10-13: Is Merritt the place to be this weekend?! Bass Coast is also happening again featuring Daphni, Bushbaby, The Funk Hunters, VNSSA, & many many more.
July 17-19: While it’s not strictly electronic, Pachena Bay Music Fest on Vancouver Island still showcases some amazing artists! You can catch Goldfish, Maddy O’Neal, K+Lab, Mt. Doyle, + more at their beautiful beachside venue.
July 24-27: It’s Shambhala time!! The lineup is stacked this year with Boris Brejcha, Kai Wachi, Interplanetary Criminal, Seven Lions, and soooo many more.
Aug 6-9: Electric Love returns to Pritchard with a huge lineup featuring Serum, ATYYA, Father Funk, Return of the Jaded, + more!
Aug 13-16: Looking for a family-friendly festival? Revel in Snaza’ist/Hedley is worth checking out. It’s all ages and offers some amazing music!
Aug 14-16: Altitude is back in Boston Bar! The lineup features Akasha & Freddy J as headliners, and you can expect multiple genres of electronic music from the rest of the fantastic artists.
